FAQs

All of our candles and melts are made from high quality, natural 100% soy wax which is clean burning, biodegradable and vegan friendly
We use high quality fragrance oils, loading our wax with the maximum amount of fragrance oil possible. Please note: some fragrances are naturally more potent than others and people are naturally more receptive to some fragrances than others. If a fragrance really isn’t working for you then please let us know and we’ll so some extra testing!
Melts are currently available as: single dome shaped melts (approx 11g – 10hrs of fragrance), three small melts in a variety of shapes (approx 21g), six small melts and waffles (both approx 42g), chunky snap bars, which are 50-60g each and melt jars, which are 90g+. Candles weigh approx 145g and will burn for approximately 30 hours+. Product availability in different fragrances will vary – I can’t make everything in every scent, there’s wax all over the house as it is! But, if you’re after something in particular, like a candle in a certain fragrance, then please get in touch and we’ll see what we can do for you
We use eco-friendly materials wherever possible – our packaging is recycled, recyclable or reused and our melts are vegan-friendly
Whilst they may look and smell good enough to eat, please don’t eat the melts. The joy will last much longer if you melt them!
Wax melts do not evaporate – the fragrance oil simply burns off due to the heat from your warmer. Be aware that if you use a traditional tealight “oil burner”, the flame will be close to the melting dish and will get extremely hot and burn the fragrance oil more quickly, so please see the safety information below. For a longer lasting fragrance use a taller or electric warmer
To remove wax, you can put your (cooled down!) tealight warmer into the freezer (this causes the wax to contract), slightly melt the wax through lighting your tealight or electric warmer, OR use a cotton wool ball when wax is in liquid form as this sucks up the liquid and allows you to wipe clean. We obviously prefer the more environmentally friendly methods!

You won’t find any fancy descriptions here – you’ll just have to try them for yourself

Never leave a burning candle unattended and do not move while lit
Do not expose to draughts or anything that could catch fire but ensure area is well ventilated
Keep out of reach of children and pets
Trim your candle wick to approx 5mm before each lighting
Ensure candles do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time
Ensure melt pool reaches the edges of the candle jar each time you burn the candle to prevent tunneling
Electric warmers may be safer as the wax will not get as hot as with a traditional tealight burner

We try to use minimal packaging for our melts to help keep shipping rates low and economical for both us and you. We reuse exterior packaging where possible and choose biodegradable and/or recyclable packaging where it is bought new. If your order contains a gift then please let us know in the order notes and we will provide additional protective packaging for extra peace of mind.

Tracking your order is simple and easy to do. You can log into your Candlebright account (if you have one) and find all of your order information there. Click on “Orders” and click on “View” where you will see the status of your order and any notes from us. Whether you have an account or not we will update you via email when your order is being processed and then when it has been shipped.
